Certificates can be opened with a minimum of $1,000.00, unless otherwise noted. Interest earned can be compounded, deposited into another Grundy Bank account, or a check can be mailed. Opening requirement for IRAs is a $500 deposit. We offer Traditional, Roth, and Educational IRAs. Rates and terms are the same as our Certificates of Deposit. Interest is compounded semi-annually. This account can be opened with a minimum balance of $2,500.00. Interest is paid monthly. There is a $15.00 charge per month and no interest paid if the balance falls below the $2,500.00 minimum daily balance. Visit our Deposit Interest Rates Page for more information on current rates.
Statement savings accounts require a $300.00 average balance per quarter. Below a $300.00 average balance a service fee of $4.00 will be assessed per quarter. In addition, a $1.00 per withdrawal fee is charged if you are in excess of 6 withdrawals per quarter.
Specifically designed for kids 18 and under, this account requires no minimum balance and no fees are charged.
Grundy Bank Visa Debit / ATM Card The Grundy Bank ATM Card and Visa debit cards allow 24 hour access to your checking and savings accounts at various ATMs. Both cards are accepted by STAR and CIRRUS systems. There is no charge to use your Grundy Bank card at Grundy Bank terminals. Other banks' surcharges may apply. Debit cards can be used any place where Visa is accepted, and purchases are deducted from your checking account. The Debit card can eliminate the need to carry a checkbook or large amounts of cash.
